From the onset I announce my identity as a child of God. My actions should announce for me before I verbally say so. Standing up for what I believe at every chance I get should let them know where I stand. I think being bold and speaking in love influences people around us.

We should be convinced within ourselves that being God’s child, being one with Him is more than enough for us. We should have our identity entrenched in that truth. That way we won’t feel the need to please anybody or do anything that is opposed to Him. My take away.

Many times you may have to break free from wrong influences. The dictionary has the word, YES and NO. saying either is a choice and you should be able to say No in love, even if it hurts.

I am the in-thing. I should be the one setting the pace (in what is being said, in dressing, in relationship, etc) and being the example others follow.

It’s alright to hurt their feelings. Especially knowing that your life may very well depend on the company you keep. They will either join you or leave you and that is fine. However, if they leave you and you choose to reach out to them ensure you have grown some before doing so. Otherwise you may fall back under their influence.
